Reena was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 3rd 1982. Her mother, Carmela C. Ray is a nurse of Filipino descent and her father, Premdas Ray, is an engineer of Indian decent. Reena’s bi-racial background has influenced her to learn more about her culture as well as others. Her father’s instability of occupation has left the family to move a lot during her younger years. From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Miami, Florida, to Richton Park, Illinois, moving has caused Reena to be adaptable to new environments. Reena’s parents divorced in 1990, which caused her to move once again. Her mother, sister (Sharmila Ray) and her moved to Sacramento, California. Life with a single mother was different, but it caused Reena to be more responsible and self sufficient at a young age. Reena recently attained her Bachelors Degree in Psychology at California State University, Long Beach. Reena’s love for the human race has influenced her to work with toddlers, to seniors, and everything in between. She currently lives in Los Angeles and is a freelance stylist and producer. Reena and her sister Sharmila, made the move to Los Angeles in order to pursue film making and acting. Reena continues to strive to entertain people through her corky remarks and infectious laugh. “ I love making people smile. It’s a universal expression that is felt worldwide.”
